Role Description The IT Technician role at SUBAM PAPERS LIMITED is a full time, on-site position based in Tirunelveli. The IT Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, networks, and peripheral devices used across the manufacturing facility and offices. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing timely technical support to employees, and ensuring minimal downtime for critical systems. The role involves monitoring system performance, performing regular updates and backups, and escalating complex issues to senior IT personnel or external vendors when needed.



The IT Technician will also assist in user training on basic IT tools and security practices, maintain documentation of IT assets and procedures, and support continuous improvements in the company’s information technology infrastructure. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support and Customer Service skills to assist users, manage service requests, and communicate solutions clearly.
• Candidates should possess core Information Technology knowledge, including operating systems, networking fundamentals, and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Candidates should possess Training abilities to guide users on IT tools, system usage, and best practices for data security and system care.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and maintain accurate documentation of IT activities and assets.
