Role Description The Technical Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode, responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to students and early-career professionals in biomedical engineering and healthcare technology. Day-to-day activities include planning and conducting classroom and lab sessions, demonstrating the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hospital equipment, and guiding learners through practical exercises and assessments. The role involves developing training materials, lesson plans, and hands-on modules that align with industry standards and program objectives. The Technical Trainer will provide individual mentoring,



track learner progress, and offer feedback to improve technical competence and communication skills. The position also includes collaborating with other trainers and management to enhance course content, support placement activities, and ensure training outcomes meet employer expectations. Qualifications
• Robust background in Technical Training and Training & Development, with the ability to design and deliver structured technical courses.
• Experience as a Technical Trainer or in similar instructional roles, with a focus on hospital or biomedical equipment and practical skill-building.
• Excellent Communication and Training facilitation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners.
• Solid understanding of biomedical engineering principles, clinical equipment handling, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Medical Equipment Technology, or a closely related field.
• Comfort working in an on-site training environment, guiding hands-on sessions, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to create training documentation, reports, and assessments, and to use basic digital tools for presentations and learning management.
• Prior experience in hospital technical support, service engineering, or healthcare technology roles is an advantage.
• Strong mentoring mindset, patience, and commitment to supporting learners from beginner to job-ready level.
