Experience:
Around 3 to 5 years in manufacturing production of pressure vessels & piping. Qualification : Diploma / B.
E/B.tech in Mechanical Engineering.

Job Description
The senior welding engineer will coordinate with production engineers & welders for welding related testing, qualification and continuity. He will also coordinate with Incharge-Quality on daily basis for stagewise inspection , documentation and borescopy & testing (PREFAT/FAT) stage. The role should have positive technical maturity and communication skills with local languages. Competencies required for the position are
• Knowledge and expertise in pressure vessel & piping manufacturing production process like tig welding, orbital welding for piping, manual polishing & Electropolishing process.
• Knowledge of ASME BPVC, ASME BPE.
• Knowledge of austenitic stainless steel with different grades like,. 316/316L/304/304L/1.4435/1.4404 & etc
• Intelligence to understand P&ID; & suggest piping manufacturing process.
• Smartness & strong communication skills with local language to handle factory emplyooes.
• Presentation Skills
• Intelligence to understand client expectations during FAT & site excecutions.
• Follow up to deliver actionables on time and with quality

Responsibilities:
1. Conducting, supervising, and controlling the qualification activities of test coupons for procedures, welders & welding operators as Section IX of ASME BPVC, EN standard and recording the actual parameters used during the test. 2. Qualification of welding procedures,



welder’s & welding operator’s performance by arranging and witnessing NDE or mechanical tests with specimen as per Section IX of ASME BPVC and EN standard 3. Evaluating and acceptance of test results as per Section IX of ASME BPVC and EN standard. 4. Preparation, review, and certification of Procedure Qualifications Records & Performance Qualification Records as per Section IX of ASME BPVC and EN standard. 5. Preparation and issue of Weld plan. 6. Preparation, review, and issue of “Approved Qualified Welder/Welding Operator List” & “Welder/Welding Operator Continuity Record” as per Section IX of ASME BPVC & EN standard and recording. 7. Monitoring and periodical training of welders and welding operators. 8. Preparation & review of Technical Deliverable Conditions (TDC) and incoming inspection of welding consumables as per project requirement, TDC & ASME BPVC Section II part C. and EN standard 9. Ensuring the Quality Control system implementation during manufacturing as per latest Quality Control Manual of Bangalore Biotech Labs Private Limited (BiOZEEN). 10. Understanding and ensuring that the requirements of all applicable ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Codes are met during various stages of manufacturing as per “RELEASED FOR CONSTRUCTION” drawings. 11. Stagewise Inspection of equipment Piping 12. Borescopy inspection 13. Customer Interaction during pre-FAT & FAT 14. Coordination with ASME auditor & third party inspection agency during inspection 15. Preparation of Inspection reports for the inspected components/equipments. 16. Rework and rejection analysis to avoid the weld defects and implement continual improvement.
