Role Description The Head of Finance Operations will oversee end-to-end financial management for The Chennai Silks’ operations in Dindigul. This full-time, on-site role includes managing daily accounting activities, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, leading budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyzing financial performance to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance Operations will establish and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with auditors and banking partners.



This position also leads the finance team, improves financial processes, and partners with senior leadership to drive operational efficiency and profitability. Qualifications
• Solid foundation in Finance, with practical experience in corporate or retail finance operations.
• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and compliance.
• Demonstrated Budgeting expertise, covering annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support management decisions.
• Experience leading finance teams, setting processes, and implementing internal controls.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance relevant to the retail sector.
• Ability to work on-site in Dindigul and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Professional qualification in finance, accounting, or related field (e.g., CA, CMA, MBA in Finance) preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
