About the Role
Real Time Applications Center (RTAC) is looking for a Software Test Engineer to validate business applications and software products across different workflows. The role involves analysing requirements, identifying functional gaps, and ensuring applications meet quality standards before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse software requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Validate business workflows, application behaviour, and data accuracy.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Retest bug fixes and verify application updates before deployment.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve software quality. Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of manual testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Knowledge of test case design, defect reporting, and bug life cycles.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing is an advantage.
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Freshers with relevant projects or software testing knowledge are encouraged to apply.
