Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Loan Officer role based in Pathankot. The Loan Officer will be responsible for sourcing and originating business loans for small and micro enterprises, including identifying prospective customers and explaining suitable loan products. Daily activities include assessing borrower profiles, collecting and verifying documentation, conducting field visits, and performing preliminary credit evaluations in line with company policies. The role involves coordinating with underwriting and operations teams to ensure timely loan processing, approval, and disbursement. The Loan Officer will provide ongoing customer service, respond to client queries, support repayment and collections,



and maintain accurate records and reports. The position requires close collaboration with branch colleagues to achieve portfolio growth, manage risk, and uphold Aye Finance’s standards of financial inclusion and customer care. Qualifications
• Experience in loan officer or similar credit-related roles, with a solid understanding of lending processes and compliance.
• Knowledge of finance and basic financial analysis, including assessment of business cash flows and repayment capacity.
• Familiarity with underwriting practices, risk evaluation, and documentation review for small and micro enterprise loans.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and build trust.
• Exposure to loan origination activities such as lead generation, field visits, and loan application handling.
• Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, commerce, business, or a related field (relevant diploma may be considered with experience).
• Comfort with using digital tools and basic computer applications for data entry, reporting, and customer records.
• Ability to work on-site in Pathankot, travel locally for client visits, and meet performance and quality targets.
• Proficiency in local language and good spoken and written English will be an advantage.
