Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning Lead Location
- Gurugram, India Experience Level
- 8–10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Planning Lead with 8–10 years of experience in Oracle Supply Chain, including hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM Planning delivery. The ideal candidate will have led demand, supply, and replenishment planning workstreams on full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations and will be comfortable conducting design workshops directly with business users. In this role, you will be deployed on an Oracle Fusion engagement for a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) client in the Middle East, owning planning process discovery and solution design for a multi-outlet supply chain, from demand signals through to store replenishment. Delivery will be primarily offshore from Gurugram, with onsite presence in Dubai for key project milestones, including requirement gathering, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, and go-live. 3.

Key Responsibilities
A. Process Discovery & Solution Design
• Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business users and translate outcomes into Oracle Fusion solution designs and configuration documents.
• Map as-is and to-be planning processes across demand, supply, and replenishment, identifying gaps and recommending fit-to-standard solutions.
• Define planning data flows across Inventory, Procurement, and, where applicable, central kitchen or manufacturing operations, including planning data collections.
• Advise the client's supply chain team on leading practices for high-velocity, short shelf-life planning. B. Oracle Fusion SCM Planning – Configuration
• Configure Planning Central, Demand Management, Supply Planning, and Replenishment Planning in Oracle Fusion SCM, as applicable to the project scope.
• Set up planning parameters, forecasting methods, safety stock policies, reorder points, sourcing rules, and assignment sets.
• Configure plan inputs, plan options, measures, and planning tables, and fine-tune plan outputs in collaboration with the business.

• Design exception management and alerts to enable planners to focus on exceptions rather than reviewing every item. C. Testing, Cutover & Go-Live
• Develop test scenarios, drive System Integration Testing (SIT), and lead UAT with client planners through functional sign-off.
• Support data migration validation for items, organisations, sourcing rules, and historical demand.
• Support cutover planning, go-live, and post-go-live stabilisation through hypercare. D. Workstream Management & Collaboration
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration workbooks, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and user training materials.
• Maintain workstream status, Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) items, and project timelines, reporting progress to engagement leadership.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, reports, and extensions required to support the planning design.
• Guide and review the work of junior consultants on the workstream, wherever assigned. 4. Skills & Competencies A. Must-Have Skills
• Oracle Fusion SCM Planning: Hands-on configuration experience with Planning Central, Demand Management, Supply Planning, and/or Replenishment Planning on live implementations.
• Implementation Lifecycle: At least two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations in a planning lead or senior planning role.
• SCM Fundamentals: Working knowledge of Fusion Inventory, item and organisation structures, and the Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) touchpoints with planning.
• Planning Concepts: Strong understanding of forecasting, safety stock, lead times, sourcing,

and replenishment logic.
• Workshop Leadership: Proven ability to conduct client-facing design workshops and drive decisions with business users.
• Documentation: Strong skills in preparing functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and UAT scripts. B. Valuable-to-Have Skills
• Experience in QSR, food service, retail, or FMCG, particularly in perishables, short shelf-life products, and multi-outlet replenishment.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Sales and Operations Planning or Supply Chain Collaboration.
• Exposure to Oracle EBS ASCP or Demantra, and EBS-to-Fusion migrations.
• Middle East or GCC delivery experience.
• Oracle Fusion SCM or Supply Chain Planning certification. 5. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field. An MBA in Operations is an advantage.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in Oracle Supply Chain consulting, with recent hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM Planning delivery.
• Minimum of two full-cycle Oracle Fusion implementations, with ownership of the planning workstream.
• Experience working with an Oracle System Integrator (SI)/implementation partner or IT consulting firm is strongly preferred.
• Oracle certifications are an advantage but are not mandatory if hands-on experience can be demonstrated. 6. Additional Requirements
• Valid passport and willingness to travel to Dubai, UAE, for critical project milestones, including requirement gathering, UAT, cutover, and go-live.
• Willingness to work hours that overlap with the UAE business day when coordinating with client teams.
• Strong spoken and written English, with the confidence to work directly with client business users.
• Availability to participate in client interviews with the onsite team before deployment.
• Ability to own the planning workstream end-to-end with minimal supervision.
