Role Description The Assistant Manager – Production will oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely manufacturing operations at the Faridabad facility. This full time, on-site role includes planning and scheduling production, monitoring output against targets, and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow. The role involves implementing standard operating procedures, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.



The Assistant Manager – Production will supervise and guide production staff, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports and insights to management for decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity is a key part of this role. Qualifications
• Strong production and operations management skills, including line balancing, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
• Experience with manufacturing processes in metal engineering or related fields, such as casting, machining, welding, or assembly.
• Knowledge of quality management practices, including basic QA/QC tools, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using ERP/MRP or production planning software and basic MS Office tools for reporting and analysis.
• Strong people management capabilities, including team supervision, shift handling, and cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or allied industries; experience in high-volume or precision manufacturing is an advantage.
