EMIL is developing three large coal mining projects with state of the art large fleet operations advanced digital technologies under connected mine. Role Details Role Purpose: Overall responsibility for site operations supervision and overseeing the direction of the project ensuring specifications and requirements are met monitor costs reviewing progress quality management safety management R&R; Land possession people development and implementation of best practices in addition to be completely responsible for all company related governance and compliance aspect. Key Responsibilities : Site Leadership: Hold overall responsibility for site operations and the direction of the project ensuring specifications and requirements are met progress is reviewed and best practices are implemented across the unit Project Planning and Implementation: Plan and monitor project implementation targets including production within budgeted cost and timelines and own compliance and reporting of project performance Operational and Cost Management: Keep variable and fixed costs and key value drivers within norms plan for benchmark improvements and drive quality management across operations Land Possession and R&R;:



Lead land possession and implementation of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement policy to enable timely commencement of mining operations Governance and Compliance: Take complete responsibility for company governance and statutory compliance including liaison with statutory authorities to secure and maintain clearances Industrial and Public Relations: Manage industrial and employee relations to sustain a constructive working climate and build effective relationships with local government and adjoining communities Safety and Environment: Drive safety and environment management across the site to ensure secure and compliant operations People Development: Develop the leadership team and workforce and support engagement initiatives including the officers club and employee township Reporting Structure Reports to : Head Mining Services Reported by : FH Operations FH F&C; FH E&P; FH HR IR Admin CSR DH CHP DH Technical Services DH E&M; Safety Global Manufacturing Leadership Program This role is part of the Global Manufacturing Leadership Program (GMLP).
