Position Title: BIM Specialist - Landscape

Reporting To: Principal Architect - Landscape

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape BIM Specialist to support the delivery of landscape architecture and streetscape projects across the Middle East region. The role will focus on the development, coordination, and management of BIM models, digital deliverables, and project documentation in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), client requirements, and company standards.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in landscape BIM workflows, multidisciplinary coordination, and digital delivery for transportation, public realm, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modelling & Documentation

- Develop and manage high-quality BIM models for landscape architecture, streetscape, public realm, and infrastructure projects.

- Produce coordinated 3D models and detailed project documentation using Revit and other BIM authoring tools.

- Create and maintain landscape families, templates, libraries, schedules, and project standards.

- Generate plans, sections, elevations, schedules, details, quantity take-offs, and drawing packages from BIM models.

Landscape BIM Delivery

- Support the delivery of landscape and streetscape projects through all project stages, including concept, preliminary design, detailed design, tender, and IFC documentation.

- Model softscape and hardscape elements, including planting, paving, street furniture, boundary treatments, shading structures, irrigation layouts, and landscape features.

- Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.

Coordination & Collaboration

- Coordinate BIM models with highways, urban design, utilities, structures, drainage, traffic, and civil disciplines.

- Participate in model reviews, clash detection workshops,



and coordination meetings.

- Support multidisciplinary design integration and resolution of model-based design conflicts.

- Work closely with Landscape Architects and Design Leads to translate design intent into BIM deliverables.

BIM Standards & Quality Assurance

- Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), client BIM requirements, ISO 19650 standards, and internal digital delivery procedures.
- Perform model audits, quality checks, and data validation activities.
- Maintain BIM documentation, model registers, and project workflows.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of landscape BIM standards and best practices.

Middle East BIM Standards & Authority Requirements

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in delivering BIM projects in accordance with Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) BIM Requirements, including BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Asset Information Requirements (AIR), Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, model federation, data validation, and project information management standards.
- Experience supporting project submissions and digital deliverables aligned with ADM BIM Standards, EIR requirements, and authority-specific model validation processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650-based information management frameworks and their application on Middle East infrastructure and public realm projects.
- Experience working on projects requiring compliance with client and authority BIM mandates across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia.
- Understanding of BIM Level of Development (LOD), Level of Information Need (LOIN),



model review procedures, clash detection workflows, and digital handover requirements for infrastructure assets.
- Ability to coordinate landscape BIM deliverables within multidisciplinary models comprising highways, utilities, drainage, structures, traffic, and urban realm disciplines while maintaining compliance with authority BIM requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, BIM Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in BIM delivery, with at least 3 years focused on landscape architecture and streetscape projects.

- Proven experience delivering BIM models and documentation for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

- Strong understanding of BIM standards, workflows, and project delivery requirements.
