Bartender responsibilites:

1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and coastal specials, as per standard recipes.
2. Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and recommend drinks suited to their taste and the resort's menu.
3. Set up the bar before service with garnishes, ice, glassware, and fresh ingredients, and keep it stocked throughout.
4. Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, equipment, and glassware, following FSSAI standards.
5. Follow Karnataka excise rules, including checking guests' legal drinking age and never serving intoxicated guests.
6. Manage bar inventory, track stock, report shortages, and minimize wastage and spillage.
7. Handle billing accurately, process POS orders, and coordinate with the restaurant and room service teams.
8. Serve poolside, beachside, and event or banquet bars when required, including weddings and corporate gatherings.
9. Create signature drinks using local flavours such as kokum, tender coconut, and spices, and keep up with recent drink trends.
10. Communicate with guests in Tulu, Kannada, and Hindi; English is an added advantage.
