Job Title: Restaurant Captain / F&B; Captain – Restaurant & Banquet

Job Description:

Hotel Raj Kailash is looking for a skilled, responsible, and guest-oriented Restaurant Captain to manage daily restaurant operations and banquet services. The candidate must have good knowledge of food and beverage (F&B;) operations, restaurant service, staff supervision, guest handling, and party management.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, professional food and beverage service.

* Welcome guests, manage seating arrangements, take orders when required, and ensure excellent guest satisfaction.

* Supervise waiters, stewards, and service staff, ensuring proper grooming, discipline, and service standards.

* Handle banquet parties, birthday celebrations, corporate events, family functions, and other gatherings.

* Coordinate banquet arrangements, including table setup, buffet setup, crockery, cutlery, service counters, and staff allocation.

* Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service, proper presentation, and fulfilment of guest requirements.

* Understand à la carte service, buffet service, banquet menus, food presentation, and beverage service.

* Coordinate with clients and management regarding event requirements, guest counts, menu arrangements, and special requests.





* Monitor food service quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant and banquet presentation.

* Handle guest complaints and service issues professionally and find quick solutions.

* Ensure proper opening and closing procedures, restaurant readiness, and event preparation.

* Monitor service inventory, crockery, cutlery, and other restaurant and banquet equipment.

* Coordinate with the kitchen, housekeeping, and management teams for productive operations.

* Help maintain service standards, control wastage, and ensure a positive dining and event experience.

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain, Restaurant Supervisor, F&B; Captain, or Banquet Captain in a hotel or restaurant.

* Robust knowledge of restaurant service and banquet party operations.

* Ability to independently supervise service staff and manage events.

* Good communication, leadership, teamwork, and guest-handling skills.

* Professional attitude, neat grooming, and a customer-focused approach.

* Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and during banquet events.

Candidates with experience in both restaurant operations and banquet management will be preferred.
