Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified English Teacher for an English Medium School. The

ideal candidate should have strong English language skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for

teaching. The candidate will teach English language and literature, improve students’ communication skills, and

create an engaging and supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Teach English language and literature to school students according to the prescribed curriculum.

● Prepare daily lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom activities.

● Develop students’ grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.

● Improve students’ spoken English, pronunciation, confidence, and overall communication abilities.

● Conduct classroom activities, assignments, tests, and examinations to assess learning outcomes.

● Evaluate students’ academic performance and maintain accurate records of progress.

● Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, interactive, and engaging learning setting.

● Provide individual attention and additional support to students who require improvement.

● Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.

● Participate in staff meetings,



school events, training sessions, and other academic activities.

● Follow school policies, teaching standards, and academic guidelines.

Educational Qualifications

● B.Ed. is mandatory.

● Graduation or Postgraduation in English is preferred.

● Candidates with relevant teaching qualifications and experience in an English Medium School will be preferred.

● Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

● Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and literature.

● Effective classroom management and student-handling skills.

● Ability to prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging lessons.

● Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

● Patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate students.

● Ability to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Preferred Experience

● Prior teaching experience in an English Medium School is preferred.

● Freshers with the required qualifications and strong English communication skills may also be considered
