Blackbox GPS Technology is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Forklift Technician to perform routine maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, repairs, and telemetry/GPS integration on various types of material handling equipment (electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts). The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical OEM skills, ensuring high machine uptime and operational safety for clients.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Repairs:

- Conduct periodic preventive maintenance, inspection, and servicing of forklifts (Electric, Diesel, and LPG models).
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and OEM guidelines.
- Repair or replace defective parts, including hydraulic pumps, mast assemblies, drive motors, brake systems, and steering mechanisms.

1. Telemetry & GPS/IoT Integration:

- Assist in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of GPS tracking, operator access management, and telemetry hardware on material handling equipment.
- Work closely with the software and telematics team to ensure seamless data transmission and sensor accuracy.

1. Field & Client Support:

- Travel to client sites for emergency breakdowns, troubleshooting, and routine service visits.
- Provide clear service reports, listing replaced parts, work performed, and future maintenance recommendations.




- Educate client operators on proper equipment usage, safety protocols, and daily check procedures.

1. Safety & Quality Standards:

- Maintain safety compliance adhering to industrial safety guidelines and OEM procedures.
- Keep a clean and organized work environment, tool inventory, and service vehicle.
- Key Qualifications & SkillsEducation: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing forklifts (Toyota, Linde, Godrej, Crown, Hyster-Yale, or similar OEM brands).
- Technical Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical schematics, motor controllers, and engine diagnostics.
- Familiarity with OEM diagnostic software, error codes, and troubleshooting tools.
- Basic knowledge of auto-electrical systems, GPS wiring, and telemetry sensors is a strong plus.
