Job Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Handle GST-related work, including return preparation, input tax credit reconciliation, and invoice verification.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Maintain purchase invoices, supplier records, expense records, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the stores and purchase departments to reconcile raw material stock records with accounting records.
- Assist in monthly closing, expense statements, and preparation of management reports.
- Handle TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return-related documentation, as applicable.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and banks when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure accounting records are accurate and up to date.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of accounting principles and GST.
- Practical experience with Tally or other accounting software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
