Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Editor with a robust background in steel detailing, knowledge of AISC standards, and hands-on experience with Tekla Structures. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and correcting structural steel drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit structural steel shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.

• Check drawings for dimensional accuracy, connection details, and consistency with project specifications.

• Ensure drawings comply with AISC standards and applicable project requirements.

• Identify errors and coordinate with detailers to implement necessary corrections.

• Review Tekla Structures models and associated drawings.

• Coordinate with detailers, checkers,



and project teams to resolve technical issues.

• Ensure drawings meet quality standards and are submitted within project deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in structural steel detailing, preferably in the US projects industry.

• Strong knowledge of AISC standards and structural steel detailing practices.

• Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures.

• Experience reviewing and editing steel shop and fabrication drawings.

• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.

• Good attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Structural Steel Editor, Shop Editor, Senior Detailer, or Checker.

• Experience working on US commercial, industrial, or miscellaneous steel projects.

• Ability to join immediately or within a short notice period.
