Run and monitor injection moulding machines to meet production targets with consistent quality and minimal rejection.
Responsibilities
1. Operate injection moulding machines (Mathman, S-Tech, Sigma, MM series).
2. Start up machines, set process parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time) as per the setup sheet.
3. Load raw material, colour masterbatch and regrind as per the production plan.
4. Inspect parts at regular intervals against the quality standard. Separate and report rejects.
5. Remove flash, runners and gate marks. Pack components as per instructions.
6. Record hourly production, rejection and downtime in the production log.
7. Report machine faults, mould issues and material problems to the supervisor immediately.
8. Assist in mould change and basic machine cleaning.
9. Follow safety rules, 5S and machine maintenance routines.
