Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the availability of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and other supplies required for daily operations.
- Handle the receipt, inspection, storage, issue, transfer and dispatch of materials ensuring accurate entries in the ERP system.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), including quantity, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date and material condition.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for incoming material inspection and approval and ensure that only QA-approved materials are issued to production.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, stacking, palletization, labelling and identification of materials, preventing damage, temperature abuse and cross-contamination.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices to ensure proper stock rotation and minimise material expiry and wastage.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and monitor slow-moving, non-moving, near expiry, expired and obsolete materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP and monitor daily stock receipts, issues, transfers and dispatches.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock verification as required, investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Manage internal material requests and coordinate with the Production team to ensure the timely supply of ingredients and packaging materials.




- Coordinate with QA/QC on material approvals, product release, temperature deviations and non-conformities and with the Purchase team on shortages, pending deliveries and supplier related issues. • Ensure proper segregation and identification of approved, rejected, quarantined and expired materials.
- Follow safe material-handling practices and maintain warehouse hygiene, housekeeping and compliance with applicable quality and safety standards.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, preferably in the food, dairy or FMCG industry.
- Experience in ERP-based warehouse operations and inventory management is preferred.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock verification and material handling.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse-related entries.
- Understanding of FIFO, FEFO, batch traceability and material storage requirements.
- Positive numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with Production, QA/QC and Purchase teams.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in record-keeping and a strong focus on stock control and material safety.
