Looking for an Assistant Cook to help prepare fresh, delicious café food, including sandwiches, salads, pasta, and other Continental and Italian dishes.

Responsibilities

- Prepare sandwiches, salads, pasta, and other café dishes by following our existing recipes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Handle ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food storage properly.
- Assist with daily kitchen preparation and inventory management.
- Follow food safety standards and maintain an organised kitchen.

Requirements

- Basic cooking skills and an interest in Continental and Italian cuisine.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or commercial kitchen is preferred.
- Punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
