Job Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical components, machine parts, and equipment as per engineering drawings.

Read and understand assembly drawings, dimensions, and technical specifications.

Fit, align, and install mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools.

Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and basic fitting operations as required.

Install nuts, bolts, bearings, shafts, couplings, and other mechanical components.

Check component dimensions and alignment using measuring instruments.

Perform mechanical adjustments to ensure proper functioning of assembled equipment.

Identify and report defective components or assembly problems.

Maintain quality standards and follow production schedules.

Follow workplace safety rules and maintain cleanliness in the work area.





Required Qualifications

ITI in Fitter trade preferred.

Experience in mechanical assembly or industrial fitting is preferred.

Basic knowledge of mechanical drawings and assembly procedures.

Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.

Required Skills

Mechanical assembly and fitting.

Drawing reading and interpretation.

Use of vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools.

Component alignment and adjustment.

Troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Teamwork and attention to detail.
