Production Manager – Fabrication & Factory Operations

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to independently manage our advertising lightbox manufacturing facility in Bangalore.

The candidate must have strong experience in MS and aluminium fabrication, production planning, manpower management, quality control and material procurement.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Management: Plan and execute daily production targets, allocate work, monitor progress and ensure timely dispatch.
- Manpower Management: Supervise workers, maintain discipline, monitor productivity and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
- Quality Control: Ensure manufacturing meets company quality standards. Identify defects, prevent rework and maintain consistent quality.
- Material Planning: Calculate material requirements, coordinate with suppliers, negotiate competitive rates and ensure timely availability.
- Cost Control: Minimize material wastage, labour inefficiency, unnecessary expenses and production delays.
- Problem Solving: Independently resolve technical, manpower, machinery and production-related challenges.
- Process Improvement: Develop efficient manufacturing methods, improve productivity and implement better systems.
- Site Coordination:



Visit installation sites when required to inspect workmanship and resolve technical issues.
- Reporting: Maintain daily production, manpower, inventory and quality reports using Excel and company software.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing, including experience managing production teams.
- Strong practical knowledge of MS fabrication, aluminium fabrication, welding, cutting, assembly and fabrication machinery.
- Experience in signage, advertising lightboxes or display manufacturing will receive strong preference.
- Must be capable of independently managing factory operations and workers.
- Kannada and Hindi compulsory; basic English required.
- Must know MS Excel, email drafting and basic computer operations.
- Familiarity with Bangalore's local suppliers and industrial markets preferred.
- Bangalore-based candidates preferred.
- Ownership of a two-wheeler or car is an added advantage.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred, but practical experience is more key.
