1. Job Purpose

To carry out welding and fabrication work for Stainless Steel (SS) and Mild Steel (MS) equipment, tanks, conveyors, food-processing machinery and other industrial fabrication products as per approved drawings and specifications.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Perform TIG, MIG and ARC welding as per job requirements and assigned work.

- Carry out welding and fabrication of SS 304, SS 316 and MS components.

- Fabricate tanks, hoppers, frames, conveyors, pipelines, machine structures and food-processing equipment.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and fabrication instructions.

- Perform cutting, grinding, fit-up, tack welding and final welding operations.

- Maintain proper alignment, dimensions, weld quality and surface finishing.

- Ensure leak-proof welding wherever required for tanks and process equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness and finishing standards, especially for food-processing equipment.

- Inspect completed work and rectify welding defects, if any.

- Use welding machines, grinders, cutting tools and other workshop equipment safely.





- Follow workplace safety rules and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

- Maintain tools, machines and the assigned workstation in positive condition.

- Coordinate with fitters, helpers, supervisors and other production staff.

- Complete assigned jobs within the specified production schedule.

- Follow instructions from the Production Supervisor / Workshop In-charge.

1. Required Skills and Qualifications

- ITI in Welding / Fabrication or equivalent practical experience preferred.

- Practical experience in SS and MS welding.

- Knowledge of TIG welding is preferred for stainless steel fabrication.

- Ability to understand basic fabrication drawings and measurements.

- Knowledge of grinding, cutting, fit-up and finishing operations.

- Ability to identify welding defects and maintain quality standards.

- Knowledge of workshop safety procedures.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
