We are looking for a Website Developer who has strong practical knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and modern website development & design.

The candidate should be capable of taking a website project from requirement → design → development → testing → deployment → maintenance.

Key Responsibilities1. Website Development

- Develop professional, responsive and high-performing business websites.
- Develop websites using WordPress, Elementor and other relevant WordPress tools.
- Build and customize websites according to client requirements.
- Create landing pages and conversion-focused websites.
- Implement custom functionality whenever required.
- Ensure websites work properly across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and fix website errors, bugs and performance issues.

1. WordPress Development

- Strong understanding of WordPress CMS.
- Theme installation, customization and development.
- Plugin configuration and customization.
- Elementor / Elementor Pro development.
- WordPress security, backups and maintenance.
- Website migration and deployment.
- Domain, hosting, SSL and DNS configuration knowledge.
- Ability to identify and resolve WordPress conflicts and technical issues.

1. WooCommerce Development

- Build and customize WooCommerce stores.
- Product setup and category management.
- Configure payment gateways.
- Configure shipping and delivery options.
- Customize checkout and cart functionality.
- Handle coupons, variations and product attributes.
- Integrate third-party plugins and APIs.
- Optimize WooCommerce stores for performance and conversions.

1. Shopify Development

- Shopify store setup and customization.
- Shopify theme customization.
- Product, collection and navigation setup.
- Shopify apps and integrations.
- Payment and shipping configuration.




- Custom sections and page development.
- Shopify store optimization and troubleshooting.

1. Website Design

The candidate should have a valuable understanding of modern website design principles.

Responsibilities include

- Creating clean and professional website layouts.
- Understanding UI/UX fundamentals.
- Creating mobile-responsive designs.
- Maintaining proper typography, spacing, colors and visual hierarchy.
- Designing conversion-focused landing pages.
- Converting Figma/PSD/design references into functional websites.

1. Performance & SEO Basics

The candidate should understand basic website optimization, including:
- Website speed optimization.
- Core Web Vitals basics.
- Image optimization.
- Mobile optimization.
- Basic technical SEO.
- Proper heading structure.
- URL structure.
- Schema implementation basics.
- Google Search Console basics.
- GA4 and Google Tag Manager implementation basics.

1. Integrations & Tracking

Candidate should be comfortable working with:
- Razorpay / payment gateways
- WhatsApp integrations
- Contact forms
- CRM integrations

Candidate Requirements We are looking for someone who:
- Has 1–3 years of practical website development experience.
- Has worked on real client websites.
- Can independently develop websites from start to finish.




- Has strong knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Has practical Shopify experience.
- Understands both website design and development.
- Can troubleshoot technical problems independently.
- Can communicate clearly with clients and internal team members.
- Can manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Is willing to learn new technologies and AI-based development tools.

Important This is not a basic WordPress operator role.

The candidate should be capable of building, customizing, troubleshooting and optimizing websites independently, rather than only installing themes and plugins.

Key Performance Expectations The selected candidate will be expected to:

- Deliver websites within agreed timelines.
- Maintain high-quality development standards.
- Ensure websites are responsive and functional.
- Minimize bugs and technical errors.
- Maintain website speed and performance.
- Follow HypeSquad's design and development standards.
- Properly test websites before delivery.
- Maintain proper backups and documentation.
- Provide post-launch technical support when required.

Salary ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Growth Opportunity Performance-based salary increments and growth opportunities will be available for candidates who demonstrate strong technical performance, ownership and reliability.
