Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections at different stages of precast concrete manufacturing.

- Inspect incoming raw materials, including cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, reinforcement steel, and other materials.

- Perform fresh concrete tests, including slump, temperature, and other applicable tests as per approved procedures.

- Coordinate with the laboratory team for concrete cube casting, compressive strength testing, and test result monitoring.

- Inspect reinforcement placement, cover, inserts, embedded items, dimensions, and mould readiness before concrete casting.

- Monitor concrete casting, vibration, curing, demoulding, and finishing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures.

- Conduct dimensional inspections of finished precast elements as per approved drawings and specifications.

- Check surface finish, cracks, honeycombing, chips, edge damage, and other defects in precast products.

- Ensure compliance with approved drawings,



Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality procedures, and project specifications.

- Identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and monitor rejection and rework.

- Maintain inspection reports, concrete test records, material inspection reports, and quality documentation.

- Coordinate with Production, Laboratory, Maintenance, and Project teams to resolve quality issues.

- Ensure proper identification, traceability, and inspection status of precast elements before dispatch.

- Support internal audits, quality improvement initiatives, and root-cause analysis.

- Ensure that quality checks are completed and documented before product approval and release.

- Follow plant safety procedures and maintain positive housekeeping in the laboratory and shop-floor areas.
