Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the overall automobile service department and workshop operations.

- Develop strategies to achieve service revenue, labour sales, and profitability targets.

- Monitor workshop productivity, technician efficiency, vehicle turnaround time, and service quality.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and complaint resolution.

- Lead, motivate, and develop Service Managers, Workshop Managers, Service Advisors, and technicians.

- Monitor service KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

- Control operational expenses and improve workshop profitability.

- Ensure proper coordination between service, spare parts, warranty, accounts, and other departments.

- Implement standard operating procedures and manufacturer service guidelines.

- Monitor repeat repairs, warranty claims, and customer escalations.

- Plan manpower requirements, training, and employee performance evaluations.

- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.





- MBA in Operations or Business Management is an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

- 12 to 15 years of experience in the automobile industry.

- Proven experience in automobile service operations and workshop management.

- Experience managing a large service centre or multiple service locations is preferred.

- Commercial vehicle or passenger vehicle service experience, depending on business requirements.

- Monthly service revenue and gross profit.

- Customer satisfaction and retention.

- Labour and spare parts sales.

- Technician productivity and efficiency.
