Job Summary

Chandigarh University is looking for dynamic, student-focused Admission Counselors / Career Advisors with experience in the Education, EdTech, or Institute industry. The candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, guiding them on suitable academic programs, and supporting the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available courses, eligibility criteria, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, follow up with prospective students, and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Understand students academic interests and recommend suitable programs.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with leads through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Manage student inquiries and maintain accurate records in the CRM or admission tracking system.




- Achieve assigned counselling, follow-up, and admission conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth student admission experience.
- Provide timely and accurate information to students and parents.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Education, EdTech, educational institutes, or student counselling.
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
- Strong student engagement, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office; CRM experience will be an advantage.
- Positive attitude, target orientation, and willingness to work in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Criteria
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
- Female candidates are preferred.
- Candidates with prior admissions counselling or education sales experience will have an added advantage.
