We are hiring an experienced VMC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines to meet production and quality requirements. Similar postings commonly require machine setup, drawing interpretation, dimensional inspection, tooling knowledge, and safe operation

Responsibilities:

- Set up VMC machines with correct tools, fixtures, and offsets
- Operate VMC machines according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Load raw material and clamp workpieces securely
- Monitor machining operations for smooth production
- Perform first-piece and in-process dimensional checks
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and Height Gauge
- Identify machining defects and report tool or machine issues
- Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain 5S/workplace cleanliness




- Follow all safety rules and company procedures

Requirements:

- ITI, Diploma, or BE in Mechanical/Machinist/Fitter trade preferred
- 1–4 years of experience operating CNC/VMC machines
- Familiarity with Fanuc or other CNC controls preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, and measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
