About the Role

We are looking for Diploma Engineers – Freshers / 0–1 year experience to join our Post-Silicon Validation Lab as Test Executives.

The selected candidates will receive practical exposure to semiconductor devices, evaluation boards, electronic test equipment and post-silicon validation activities.

The role involves supporting engineers in setting up test benches, executing test cases, taking electrical measurements, recording test results and performing basic hardware troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities1. Test Bench Setup

- Assist engineers in setting up post-silicon validation test benches.
- Connect evaluation boards, DUTs, cables, probes and power supplies.
- Follow test setup diagrams and instructions.
- Verify proper power and signal connections before testing.
- Assist in maintaining test fixtures and laboratory setups.

1. Test Execution

- Execute predefined test procedures under the guidance of Validation Engineers.
- Power ON/OFF DUTs according to prescribed procedures.
- Perform basic voltage, current and signal measurements.
- Run assigned test cases and record observations.
- Repeat tests under different test conditions as instructed.
- Report abnormal readings immediately to the responsible engineer.

1. Laboratory Equipment

Learn and operate basic electronic laboratory instruments such as:
- Digital Multimeter (DMM)
- DC Power Supply
- Oscilloscope
- Function / Signal Generator
- Electronic Load
- Logic Analyzer
- Frequency Counter




- LCR Meter

Training will be provided on laboratory equipment and test procedures.

1. Basic Hardware Testing

- Perform continuity and resistance checks.
- Check power rails and basic electrical parameters.
- Verify board connections.
- Check cables, connectors and test fixtures.
- Assist in identifying basic hardware abnormalities.
- Support engineers during board bring-up and debugging.

1. Test Data Collection

- Record measurements accurately in test sheets.
- Maintain test logs and laboratory records.
- Enter test results in Excel or designated test tools.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of DUTs and boards.
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly test reports.

1. Post-Silicon Validation Support

Under the guidance of Validation Engineers, the Test Executive will assist with:
- IC / chip testing
- Evaluation board testing
- Board bring-up
- Functional testing
- Electrical parameter measurement
- Power consumption measurement
- Voltage characterization
- Frequency testing
- Basic interface testing
- Temperature-related testing, where applicable
- Test failure identification and reporting

Basic Knowledge Expected Candidates should have basic knowledge of:
- Analog and digital electronics
- Voltage, current and resistance
- Ohm's Law
- Basic electronic components
- Diodes and transistors
- Resistors and capacitors
- Digital logic
- Basic semiconductor concepts
- PCB and electronic boards
- Basic electrical measurements

Deep semiconductor knowledge is not mandatory for freshers.



The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Practical Skills – Preferred

Candidates who have practical exposure to any of the following will have an advantage:
