We're Hiring: Video Engineer – Digital Operations Executive
Skandha Media Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically sound and detail-oriented qualified to join our Broadcast & Streaming Operations team in Mumbai.
Location: Andheri East, Mumbai
Experience: 1–2 years
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech
Work Schedule: 24×7 rotational shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage live streaming events from ingest to delivery.
- Handle live feed protocols such as SRT, UDP, and RTMP.
- Troubleshoot streaming, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Support delivery formats including HLS, DASH, and SCTE.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients during live events.
- Maintain operational logs, reports, and incident documentation.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic networking knowledge: IP, VLAN, multicast,
and bandwidth.
- Understanding of live streaming protocols and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Haivision Gateway, Nimble Streamer, TitanLive, and GCP Cloud.
- Strong English communication, email writing, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple live events simultaneously.
