Key Responsibilities

- P&L; (Profit &
- Loss) Ownership:

Manage unit-level revenue generation, EBITDA, cash flow, operating budgets, and cost control across departments. [1]

- Operations &

- Resource Management:

Oversee end-to-end facility workflows—including OPD, IPD, operation theaters (OT), diagnostics, admissions, billing, and discharges. [1]

- Consultant &

- Doctor Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with visiting and full time clinician consultants, track patient footfall, and address practice issues. [1]

- Quality &

- Statutory Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to healthcare protocols, safety standards, fire safety, biomedical waste management, and accreditations like NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals &
- Healthcare Providers). [1, 2]

- Patient Experience &

- Grievance Handling:

Monitor Net Promoter Scores (NPS), handle escalated patient complaints, and drive continuous service-quality improvements. [1, 2]

- Team &

- Vendor Management:

Lead, mentor, and evaluate cross-functional teams (nursing, housekeeping, security, and administrative staff) while managing external vendor contracts. [1]

- Business Growth &





- Referrals:

Drive local marketing initiatives, corporate tie-ups, and referral development from nearby clinics and insurance desks.

- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day department workflows, patient flow, admissions, and discharges to meet efficiency standards. [1, 2]

- Staff Leadership: Supervise, schedule, train, and mentor clinical (doctors/nurses) and non-clinical support teams. [1, 2, 3]

- Financial &

- P&L; Oversight:

Monitor departmental revenue, manage budgets, control costs, and track profitability. [1, 2]

- Quality &

- Compliance:

Enforce hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensure patient safety, and meet local regulatory guidelines. [1]

- Patient Experience: Manage patient grievances, ensure prompt resolution of complaints, and drive high satisfaction scores. [1]

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with senior leadership, department heads, and attending physicians to implement growth initiatives. [1, 2]
