We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to manage company vehicles, transportation operations, supply chain coordination, and vehicle-related compliance. The ideal candidate should have experience in fleet management, logistics, vendor coordination, and transportation cost control, preferably in the FMCG, frozen food, or food distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Fleet Management: Manage company-owned and hired vehicles, including delivery vans and distribution vehicles.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Monitor servicing schedules, repairs, insurance renewals, fitness certificates, permits, and pollution certificates.
- Transportation Planning: Plan vehicle routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of frozen and chilled products.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with hubs, warehouses, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product movement.
- Cost Control: Monitor fuel expenses, maintenance costs, transportation expenses, and vehicle operating costs.
- Driver Management: Supervise drivers, monitor attendance, ensure route compliance, and maintain vehicle usage records.
- Vehicle Documentation: Maintain updated records of vehicle documents, insurance policies,



permits, and statutory requirements.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with transporters, vehicle service centres, insurance providers, and other logistics vendors.
- PF & Employee Health Insurance: Coordinate with HR and insurance providers for employee PF-related administrative requirements and group health insurance policy renewals, documentation, and claims.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare regular reports on vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, delivery performance, maintenance expenses, and insurance status.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4–10 years of experience in transport, fleet management, or logistics operations.
- Experience in FMCG, frozen food, seafood, or food distribution will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of vehicle documentation, insurance renewals, maintenance, and transportation cost management.
- Basic knowledge of PF administration and employee group health insurance coordination.
- Valuable communication, negotiation, coordination, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
