Role Description The Tour Guide role is a full-time, on-site position based in Assam, India. In this role, the guide will lead guests on organized tours and safaris, provide transparent and engaging commentary, and share information about local history, culture, and wildlife.

The Tour

Guide will greet guests, manage tour logistics, coordinate with drivers and support staff, and ensure that itineraries are followed safely and on time. Daily responsibilities include answering guest questions, providing recommendations, maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere, and responding promptly to any issues during tours. The role also involves promoting company services, collecting guest feedback,



and supporting basic sales and booking activities when required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Guided Tours skills, including route planning, group handling, and safety awareness.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly and interact with diverse guests.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, focusing on hospitality, problem-solving, and guest satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of local History and culture, and a willingness to continuously learn about the region.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to promote tour packages, upsell services, and support booking inquiries.
- Fluency in English and local languages, such as Assamese or Hindi, is highly beneficial.
- Prior experience in tourism, hospitality, or guiding roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong interpersonal skills, physical stamina for outdoor activities, and a genuine interest in travel and nature.
