Role & responsibilities

1. Tool & Die Making: Understand tool and die manufacturing processes and perform tool room activities as per requirements.
2. Engineering Drawing & GD&T;: Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T; symbols to ensure accuracy.
3. Tool Process Knowledge: Follow the required manufacturing process, machining sequence, fitting operations, and process planning for tool development.
4. Tool Assembly: Assemble, fit, align, and adjust tools, dies, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
5. Tool Trial: Conduct tool trials, identify tooling problems, troubleshoot defects, and implement necessary corrections to achieve the required output.
6. Inspection: Inspect tool dimensions using precision measuring instruments and verify compliance with drawing specifications and quality standards.
7. Tool Correction & Improvement:



Identify dimensional deviations, fitting issues, and tooling defects, and carry out corrective actions.
8. Tool Maintenance: Perform routine tool maintenance, monitor tool condition, and ensure tools are in valuable working condition.
9. Quality & Safety: Follow quality procedures, maintain tool room housekeeping, and comply with workplace safety requirements.
10. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain tool trial reports, inspection records, tool correction details, and maintenance records.
