Role Description The EDTECH Counsellor is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru. The role involves guiding prospective learners and families in understanding available edtech programs and recommending suitable courses based on their goals and interests. The counsellor will handle incoming inquiries, conduct consultations in person or over phone/online, and maintain detailed records of interactions and conversions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining program features, fees, and outcomes; following up with leads; coordinating with internal academic and sales teams; and ensuring a positive, informative experience for each learner. The counsellor will also support outreach activities, participate in promotional events,



and provide feedback to improve counselling processes and learner engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills to counsel learners and families effectively.
- Candidates should possess basic sales, negotiation, and customer service skills to manage inquiries, follow-ups, and conversions in an ethical manner.
- Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple learner cases simultaneously.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of educational technology and willingness to learn about new courses, platforms, and teaching methods.
- Candidates should ideally have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; education, psychology, business, or related fields are an advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable working on-site in Bengaluru, with proficiency in English and at least one regional language preferred.
- Prior experience in counselling, edtech, training, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
