Mainframe Automation Development Automate:

- Host navigation
- Screen recognition
- Protected/unprotected fields
- Function key processing

- Batch processing

Reliability Engineering Replace hard-coded delays with:

- Screen-ready checks
- Cursor-position validation
- Host synchronization techniques
- Field readiness validation

Implement:
- Logging
- Error handling
- Retry mechanisms
- Recovery workflows

Documentation

- Create design documentation.
- Generate macro mapping documents.
- Support operational runbook development.
