Pannini Educational Ventures

Bengaluru

Company OverviewPannini Educational Ventures Private Limited builds innovative, personalized, intelligence-oriented education systems. We operate through two brands — Chilipili (early childhood and foundational learning, joyful and child-centred) and Gurukul (primary and above, inquiry-based, first-principles thinking). Our goal is not marks alone but curiosity, reasoning, character, and a genuine love of learning.

We are at an early, fast-moving stage and value people who build rather than wait to be told.

MissionTo make children fall in love with English and Hindi — not as subjects to be passed, but as living languages they can speak, perform, and play with — by teaching through theatre, drama, poetry, and the music of the spoken word so that conversational confidence and expression become second nature.

Role SummaryYou will teach spoken English and Hindi to children using theatre and drama as your primary medium. Through storytelling, role-play, poetry, recitation, and performance, you will build intonation, articulation, vocabulary, and the courage to speak. You will work closely with the academic and curriculum teams to design experiences that make language joyful and alive, and help children discover the nuance, idiom, and literary beauty of both languages.

LocationOnsite — Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Outcomes (What Success Looks Like)#Outcome1Children visibly gain confidence speaking English and Hindi aloud — measured through regular performances, recitations, and conversation sessions within the first 3–6 months2Run a consistent rhythm of theatre, drama, poetry, and spoken-word activities that children look forward to, with clear improvement in intonation, expression, and vocabulary3Design and build a repeatable library of spoken-language activities, scripts, poems, and drama exercises that other teachers can reuse4Noticeably shift children's attitude — from hesitation or disinterest toward enjoyment and ownership of both languages5Stage at least one meaningful showcase or performance (per term) that demonstrates children's spoken progress to parents and peers

Technical Competencies#Competency1Strong spoken command of both English and Hindi — correct intonation, pronunciation, rhythm, and expression2A background and practical skill in theatre, drama, or performing arts (acting, direction, improvisation, voice, stagecraft)3A real feel for the languages — their nuance, idiom, poetry, and literary beauty — and the ability to make children feel it too4Ability to design age-appropriate spoken-language activities: scripts, role-plays, poems, recitation, storytelling, debate, and conversation games5Comfort using AI and straightforward technology productively to prepare material, scripts, and practice content

Behavioural Competencies#Competency1Expressive, energetic, and able to hold a room of children with presence and warmth2High ownership — builds the programme rather than waiting for a fixed syllabus3Patient, encouraging, and able to draw out shy or hesitant children4Creative and resourceful — invents activities, adapts on the fly, improves continuously5Genuine care for children and alignment with our mission of joyful, understanding-led learning

ResponsibilitiesTeaching Through Theatre & Drama

- Teach spoken English and Hindi using theatre, drama, role-play, and improvisation as the core method
- Build children's intonation, articulation, pronunciation, and expressive delivery
- Use poetry, recitation, songs, and storytelling to develop rhythm and love of language
- Create a safe, playful space where children are willing to speak, perform, and make mistakes

Building Conversational Confidence
- Run regular conversation sessions, debates, and speaking games in both languages
- Expand children's vocabulary, idiom, and ability to express ideas naturally
- Give targeted support to hesitant or struggling speakers
- Track and reflect each child's spoken progress over time

Programme & Material Building

- Design and build a reusable library of scripts, poems, drama exercises, and conversation activities

Performance & Showcase
- Direct and stage recitations, skits, and theatre showcases that demonstrate children's progress
- Involve parents and the wider community in celebrating children's spoken growth

Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Graduate in any field; a background in theatre, performing arts, literature, or language education is a strong plus
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in theatre/drama and in the spoken use of English and Hindi; experience teaching or working with children is preferred but attitude and ability matter more than years

- Language: Fluent, expressive spoken English and Hindi (essential). Kannada is a plus
- Tools: Comfort with basic technology and willingness to use AI productively for preparation

Work Environment / Setup
- Onsite, working directly with children and alongside the academic and curriculum teams
- An evolving, startup-like environment — you will help shape and build the programme, not inherit a finished one
- Some flexibility and travel may be required around performances and showcases

SalaryAs per capability and experience.

Growth

PathThis is a one-of-a-kind opportunity at an early stage. As the school grows, this role can grow into leading the spoken-language and performing-arts programme across both brands — shaping how an entire generation of children learns to love English and Hindi — with corresponding financial and career advancement.

Key Attributes SummaryA theatre-rooted, expressive language lover who can make children enjoy speaking English and Hindi. Someone who combines genuine stage and spoken skill with warmth, patience, and the drive to build a joyful spoken-language programme from the ground up.
