The objective of the organisation is to build Public Digital Infrastructure for Banking using blockchain and other emerging technologies, leveraging the network of member banks to enable high-volume and cost-effective financial transactions.

IBDIC is looking for a Test Engineer - Trade Finance with 4-6 years of experience in software testing and strong, recent hands-on experience in Trade Finance application testing. The candidate should have practical exposure to both Inland and International Trade Finance transactions and be capable of independently managing the end-to-end QA lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyse business requirements and functional specifications to identify test scenarios,



dependencies and gaps.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end and exception testing for Trade Finance applications.
- Validate Inland and International Trade Finance transactions, workflows, document processing and exception handling.
- Perform API and integration testing, ensuring data accuracy across upstream and downstream systems.
- Identify, document, track and manage defects through resolution, retesting and regression testing.
- Support SIT, UAT and production release readiness activities.
- Maintain daily test execution reports, defect trackers and QA status dashboards.
- Collaborate with Product, Business and Technology teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts for functional and regression testing to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Must Have:

- 4-6 years of software/application testing experience with recent hands-on Trade Finance testing experience (mandatory).
- Robust knowledge of Inland and Cross-Border Trade Finance transactions.
- Practical understanding of Letters of Credit (Inland/Import/Export), Bank Guarantees,



Inland/Export Bills and Documentary Trade transactions.
- Experience in Trade Finance transaction lifecycles, document validation, workflows and discrepancy handling.
- Hands-on experience in RTM preparation, test planning, test case execution and defect management.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools, SQL and database validation.
- Knowledge of JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
- Experience in functional, integration, regression and SIT/UAT testing.
- Ability to independently manage the complete testing lifecycle with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with Trade Finance platforms for banks or financial institutions preferred.
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress will be an added advantage.
