Role & responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

n Responsible for the companys technical support, training and response incorporating all aspects of installation, maintenance and on site assistance. Responsible for helping the Sales Manager in developing sales across all categories of commercial and residential flooring.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides technical advice and guidance to internal staff and external customer base.
2. Conducts customer installation training programs for Retailers, Contractors, End users, Distributors and Armstrong Sales and Customer Service staff as required.
3. Keeps a record of all courses, training videos and tapes and makes changed to ensure they are current at all times.
4. Do sites visits to ensure installers are compliance with Armstrong installation method.
5. Supports manufacturing and marketing in product development relative to feasibility of installation techniques, maintenance and test report aspects.
6. Assists with the rectification of complaints where our sales staff or Distributor staffs are unable to resolve the complaint.
7.



Help the Sales Managers - Residential and Commercial in program development such as installation training in the commercial markets.
8. Carries out all duties safely, understands and works within the Company Operating Principles/Values.
9. Carries out other duties in the company’s interest as directed by management.

Preferred candidate profile

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Diploma ,College degree and above
- 2 - 5 years specification and installation working experience in related industry
- Experience in flooring industry will be needed
- Willingness to travel frequently within India

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

- Valuable command of Hindi / Local languages (such as Kannada for South or Marathi for West)
- Good command of English will be a plus
- Computer proficiency

- Integrated and successful project experience
