Role & responsibilities

- Lead train-level system engineering and integration of braking and passenger door systems for mainline and metro train projects.
- Analyze customer specifications and define system requirements, functional specifications, system architecture, and interface requirements.
- Manage interfaces between brake and door systems, TCMS, traction, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical subsystems.
- Lead brake and door system integration, verification, validation, and train-level functional testing.
- Develop and execute integration plans, test procedures, verification checklists, and functional test scenarios.
- Lead static and agile integration testing, train commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
- Validate system functionality under normal, degraded, and failure conditions to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
- Perform failure analysis, diagnostic log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA) for train-level integration issues.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.




- Manage requirements traceability, verification evidence, interface control documents (ICDs), and system engineering documentation.
- Support technical reviews, design approvals, reliability runs, and field issue resolution.
- Monitor integration progress, technical risks, and engineering deliverables to meet project milestones and railway safety and quality requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Handle Brakes & Doors Systems starting from RFQ till Validation
- Support New Projects for Brakes & Doors Systems.
- Minimum 5yrs worked in Vande Bharat Projects, EMU, High Speed Trainsets
