1. Job Purpose To perform structural analysis, wind load calculations, profile rigidity evaluations, technical documentation, and engineering presentations for Prominance uPVC window and door systems, supporting new product development (NPD) and structural performance validation.

2. Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Wind Load & Structural Calculations:
- Perform wind load calculations in accordance with IS 875 (Part 3), accounting for basic wind speed, risk factors, terrain categories, and relevant design parameters.
- Calculate and evaluate $I_{xx}$, $I_{yy}$, and Flexural Rigidity ($EI$) for uPVC profiles, aluminium/steel reinforcements, and structural assemblies.
- Assess profile spans, reinforcement requirements, and structural rigidity across various window and door configurations.
- Analysis & Simulation:
- Analyse structural performance, deflection, and stress using STAAD and Abaqus.
- Conduct simulation reviews to ensure structural integrity under design load conditions.
- Technical Documentation & R&D; Support:
- Prepare detailed engineering calculation sheets, structural analysis reports, and revision-controlled technical documentation.




- Create professional engineering and performance presentations (PowerPoint) for internal reviews and technical stakeholders.
- Support DTS & R&D; in Current Product Development (NPD), design validation, technical reviews, and structural performance assessments.
- Maintain accurate engineering archives and simulation records.

3. Educational Qualification & Experience

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience: 0 to 1 year (Freshers with strong analytical background/project work or junior engineers with structural analysis/simulation experience).

4. Technical Skills & Competencies

- Working knowledge of STAAD and Abaqus.
- Sound understanding of IS 875 (Part 3) and wind load calculation methodologies.
- Strong grasp of engineering mechanics, structural calculations, and CAD drawing interpretation.
- Excellent technical report writing and PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Preferred / Added Advantage: Prior exposure to uPVC profiles, aluminum reinforcement, façade systems, or the fenestration industry.
