Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee store operations, inventory management, material handling, and warehouse activities in a manufacturing environment. The candidate should ensure accurate stock control, timely material availability, proper storage, and efficient coordination with Purchase, Production, PPC, and Quality departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum stock levels, reorder levels, and material availability to avoid production shortages.
- Coordinate with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality, and other departments for timely material movement.
- Ensure proper material identification, traceability, FIFO, and systematic storage practices.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and cycle counting.
- Monitor inward materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and inspection requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, tools, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods.
- Identify and control excess, obsolete, damaged, and non-moving inventory.
- Maintain documentation for GRN,



material issue slips, stock registers, and inventory reports.
- Implement 5S, housekeeping, safety, and continuous improvement practices in the stores area.
- Supervise store personnel and ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory and stock status reports to management.
- Operate or monitor ERP / inventory management systems for stock transactions and reporting.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
- Experience in manufacturing stores operations.
- Knowledge of ERP / SAP / inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Good communication, coordination, and team management skills.
- Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Experience Experience in a manufacturing industry, preferably precision engineering or machining, with knowledge of raw materials, tooling, consumables, machine spares, and production material planning.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
- Material availability for production.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies and inventory losses.
- Timely material receipt and issue.
- Control of excess and obsolete inventory.
- Compliance with 5S, safety, and documentation standards.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
