Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure that materials, goods, and inventory are received, stored, controlled, and issued efficiently and safely, while maintaining the right stock levels and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain accurate stock levels and records.

· Defining minimum and maximum and re-order level, and maintain inventories accordingly.

· To ensure material availability as per minimum and maximum level and ensure no production loss due to material.

· Check incoming materials for quantity and documentation.

· To ensure all GRN's and clearance of suppliers bills on daily basis after Q.A. check.

· Ensure materials are stored properly, safely, and systematically.

· Supply materials to departments as required and maintain proper records.

· Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile differences.

· Reduce wastage, damage, excess stock, and unnecessary purchasing.





· Monitoring and disposal of Non-moving material on weekly basis.

· Supervise and train stores staff.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and secure stores area.

· Work with purchasing, production, accounts, sales, and other departments.

· Prepare inventory and stock-related reports for management.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits.

Educational Qualification

Essential:

- B.Com, MBA

Preferred:

- SAP Exposure

Experience

Minimum Experience Required:

05-06 Yrs

Preferred Experience:

- Industry: Polymer, Packaging, Plastic, etc.
- Functional Area: Stores
