Store Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Assistant to support daily store operations, including material receipt, storage, issuance, inventory maintenance, and documentation. The candidate should be attentive to detail and capable of maintaining accurate stock records.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and check them against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Arrange and store materials systematically with proper identification and labeling.
- Issue materials to Production, Fabrication, Maintenance, and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
- Maintain stock registers, inward and outward records, and material issue slips.
- Assist in physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with recorded inventory.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the Store In-charge about shortages or damaged materials.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety within the store area.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Accounts Departments regarding material movement and documentation.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, spare parts, electrical components, and other materials.




- Assist in preparing inventory reports and maintaining files of invoices, challans, and other store documents.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel.
- Valuable organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to count, identify, and handle materials carefully.
- Honesty, punctuality, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively with the store and production teams.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in a manufacturing company, engineering industry, or electrical panel manufacturing unit will be preferred.

Experience: 0–2 Years

Qualification: 12th Pass or Graduate; Diploma in Stores or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
