About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and service-oriented Steward to support daily dining operations at our student housing property. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, assisting with food service, ensuring proper handling of crockery and cutlery, and providing a clean and comfortable dining experience for residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in daily food and beverage service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other scheduled meal times.
- Set up dining tables, serving counters, and buffet arrangements before meal service.
- Serve food and beverages to residents as required.
- Ensure dining tables, chairs, floors, and serving areas remain clean and organised.
- Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery promptly after meals.
- Wash, clean, and store crockery, cutlery, utensils, and service equipment properly.
- Refill food counters, water stations, and other service areas during meal hours.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food replenishment and smooth service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards while handling food and service equipment.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain cleanliness in dining and kitchen service areas.
- Check the availability of crockery, cutlery, tissues, cleaning supplies, and other service essentials.




- Report damaged equipment, shortages, spills, and maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Assist in maintaining meal service schedules and managing peak dining hours efficiently.
- Follow company SOPs, grooming standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Respond politely to residents' requests and escalate complaints to the F&B; Supervisor when required.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum qualification: 10th or 12th pass preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, hostels, or cafeterias.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may apply.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and dining service practices.
- Good communication skills and a polite, service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Physically fit to handle standing duties and routine service activities.
- Team player with valuable discipline, punctuality, and attention to cleanliness.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in hotels, restaurants, hostels, institutional catering, cafeterias, or student housing operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
