About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of professional experience and a strong understanding of creating engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and EdTech platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality long-form and short-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, animations, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
- Maintain strong storytelling, pacing, visual flow, and audience engagement.
- Repurpose long-form content into engaging Reels and Shorts.
- Collaborate with the content and creative teams to understand video requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos as per project timelines.
- Keep up with current social media trends, editing styles, and content formats.

Requirements




- 3–7 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Candidates with prior EdTech industry experience will be preferred.
- Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, Reels, or Shorts is preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.
- Good understanding of video composition, storytelling, pacing, and sound design.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is an advantage.
- Solid attention to detail, creativity, and visual sense.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Portfolio/Showreel is required.
