Position description: FLO- Mechanical Maintenance

Qualification:

Essential: Candidate Should have Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full Time) from reputed institute.

Desirable: Degree/Diploma/ Certification in advance maintenance.

Experience:

Essential:

- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

- Practical knowledge of preventive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.

- Experience in work orders, shutdown activities, spare parts management, and coordination with maintenance technicians.

- Working knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings,



hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Desirable:

- Experience in aluminium, zinc, metal recycling, foundry, casting, steel, or process manufacturing industries.

- Knowledge of root cause analysis, breakdown reduction, shutdown maintenance, and maintenance documentation.

- Familiarity with ERP/CMMS systems and maintenance KPI reporting.

Job Profile:

- Ensure high availability and reliability of plant machinery to support uninterrupted production and minimize downtime.

- Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance as per approved schedules, equipment manuals, and safety procedures.

- Manage maintenance work orders and coordinate with fitters, technicians, and other teams for timely execution.

- Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical faults, and prepare observation reports.

- Plan and execute shutdowns, turnaround maintenance, and major repairs in coordination with Production and other departments.

- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate with Stores, Purchase, and external vendors for timely availability of spares, tools, and services.

- Maintain equipment history, maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, work order records, and ERP/CMMS documentation.

- Prepare maintenance KPI reports covering equipment availability, downtime, breakdown frequency, preventive maintenance compliance, spare consumption, and costs.





- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring failures and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, permit-to-work, LOTO requirements, and maintenance standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
