Role Description The SR. E&I; Engineer will work on-site in Vridhachalam in a full-time capacity, overseeing electrical and instrumentation engineering activities for assigned projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing electrical and instrumentation systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

The role involves coordinating with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and contractors to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. The engineer will perform hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation issues, optimize process control strategies, and implement corrective actions to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The position also requires supervising junior engineers or technicians, reviewing vendor proposals,



and supporting quality assurance and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Electrical Engineering and Electricity skills, with the ability to design, review, and analyze electrical systems for industrial or construction projects.
- Candidates should possess Instrumentation and Process Control skills, including experience with field instruments, control loops, and automation systems for process optimization.
- Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills, with demonstrated capability to diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults in a timely and protected manner.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards, and experience applying safety, quality, and compliance requirements in engineering work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related discipline; advanced certifications in E&I; or process control are an advantage.
- Several years of experience in a senior E&I; role within construction, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
- Effective communication, documentation, and coordination skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on project deadlines, resource planning, and continuous improvement.
