Role overview The role covers the full project lifecycle, from software design and offline programming to on-site commissioning and handover. You will lead the automation team, work with cross-functional teams and vendors, and drive software standardization across projects.

Key responsibilities

- Define an automation roadmap aligned with business objectives

- Lead PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, Servo and robotics software design and implementation

- Deliver projects on time, first time right and within budget

- Reduce commissioning time through structured offline and in office planning

- Build, mentor and develop the automation team

- Establish and maintain standardized software structures and modules

Requirements

- B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronics

- 9.5 to 12 years of relevant experience

- Proficiency in Siemens, Rockwell and Mitsubishi platforms

- Programming in Ladder, Function Block, Structured Text and SFC

- Communication protocols: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Ethernet, Modbus TCP/IP, RS232/485/422

- Industry exposure in Chemical, Effluent / Waste-water Treatment,

- No Automobile Industry **

- Awareness of C# is an added advantage
