Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing

- Lead all sourcing activities of raw material and toller manufacturing products for specialty chemical business.

- Identify and communicate supply constraints, market trends, and risks in a timely manner.

- Support strategic sourcing initiatives in close collaboration with planning and SCM team

- Drive value creation through competitive sourcing, cost optimization, and supplier innovation.

- Drive inventory optimization with help of Planning team to achieve supply chain resilience and agility.

Supplier Management

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.

- Negotiate and establish robust supply agreements aligned with business objectives.

- Leverage market intelligence to mitigate supply risks and strengthen supply continuity.

- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual and quality Stakeholder Engagement





- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities.

- Define and deliver procurement solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Candidate Profile

Experience

- 8-14 years of relevant experience in procurement operations or supply chain

management, with a solid focus on strategic sourcing in speciality chemicals

Technical Skills

- Experience with E procurement systems and ERP (e.g., SAP, Ariba, EJ buy, Ivalua) is preferred.

Key Skills:

Business/Process Knowledge

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity.

- Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the SCBU supply Chain.
