We are looking for a hardworking and reliable South Indian Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team at Madras Cafe, Manali.

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of South Indian food preparation and be able to assist the South Indian Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the chef in preparing South Indian dishes such as Dosa, Idli, Vada, Uttapam, Sambar, and Chutneys.
- Help with batter preparation, vegetable cutting, grinding, and other kitchen preparations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Ensure ingredients and kitchen supplies are organised and readily available.
- Assist with food plating and preparation during busy service hours.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef.
- Maintain proper food storage and handling standards.
- Support the kitchen team with daily opening and closing duties.





Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a South Indian kitchen preferred.
- Basic understanding of South Indian ingredients and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Hardworking, punctual, and disciplined.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
